Before I even took the course, pressure-washing was in my DNA. My father even owned his own small painting and pressure-washing company. Later, I decided to follow in his footsteps. In the middle of the planning phase, I learned about Brown’s Pressure Washing. After scheduling a call with them, I decided that the course was worth the price to get an overview that showed me how to start and run a pressure-washing business.
Within three months of taking the course, I started to see results. I worked at starting Raleigh Power Wash like it was my full-time job. Focusing fully on the course and making the connections that I needed helped me execute my business plan. Before we landed our first jobs, I spent two weeks knocking on doors. We secured most of our customers using door referrals and door hanger advertising.
During the last two years, I’ve evacuated 1,400 Afghan refugees who I intentionally employ in my business. After completing the course in January, we outfitted our first truck and trained our first employee. We hit 11K in our first month.
My advice is to seek guidance from a company who has already accomplished what you want to do. Copy what works and apply it to your business. Wait to stand out from everyone else until you can afford the risk.
Commit 100% to your goal. Ask friends, family, and established business owners for advice. Ideally, your mentor and the people who care about you the most should agree that you’re taking the right step.
The course structured the steps, resources, and checklists to start my business, while meeting the Brown’s team added a lot of value.
