It’s easy to make mistakes if you’re trying to break into a new industry with minimal knowledge. At the outset, I didn’t know much about the industry. I didn’t have any machines or locations.

My goal was to get clarity about how the vending industry worked, how to start the right way, and avoid common pitfalls. Adam Hill’s Vending Bootcamp course opened my eyes and gave me a blueprint to thrive in the vending industry.

Adam packed a ton of detail into the course. It showed me how to start from the ground up. I discovered how to invent a company name, engage in financial planning, set up my LLC, perform market research, create sales scripts, print up materials, and more. Right away, I performed market research in my area, created my digital business footprint, including my website, set up my systems, and started making cold calls to potential clients. I also kept my eyes on social media to spot vending routes for sale.

Shortly after taking the course, I saw my first results. Not only do I have my business structure, but I’ve placed 5 machines in location already. The biggest blessing is the deal that I DIDN’T make. As a novice, I had the chance to buy a vending business with 10 machines. In the past, I would have jumped at the opportunity, but Adam’s course and the monthly group coaching helped me realize the business was an overpriced mistake. Had I not had Adam’s expertise and support, I would have chosen an overpriced business that compromised my ability to scale from the start. Now, I’m working ahead to crush this year!

As someone new to the vending industry, my biggest hurdle was just “taking the leap”. I’d wanted to get into the vending business for almost two years, but I always found an excuse not to start.
