It gave me the confidence to finally start a business.
Just starting out, I wanted to invest in a business on a small scale and work to expand it. After what happened to businesses after the COVID-19 lockdowns, I wanted a business that could survive long-term. Before I saw Adam’s 2-Day Workweek – Earns $700k YouTube video and enrolled in the Vending Bootcamp course, I wanted to connect with a business community with a mentor like Adam.
The main issue I wanted to solve was finding the initial capital and time to invest in starting my business. I graduated university with an engineering and a ton of student debt. When the pandemic started, I secured a well-paid job at a warehouse.
While I love the security of a stable job, I want to do more with my life. Reading about successful business owners like Warrant Buffett ignited my drive to become one myself. My main problem was thinking like a worker instead of a business owner. I didn’t write down the information I learned. I didn’t look for an interactive mentor. I was afraid of failure! That’s why Adam’s videos really resonated with me. They made me realize the low startup costs involved in the vending industry and how much support you can get from your own competition.
Concerns about choosing my business name, prepping presentation pamphlets, opening a municipal business tax account, selecting the right bank to open a business account, finding the best insurance broker for my insurance policies and more bogged my progress down. My biggest problem was that I wasted too much time thinking about starting a business instead of actually doing it.
Then, a big discount encouraged me to enroll in the course. Completing the program gave me more confidence to start my own business. My goal is to make the time during my normal day job and family life to finish my startup. I have an ambition and drive to find the right customers.
Due to some unforeseen circumstances, I haven’t had the chance to implement all the lessons I learned about the vending machine business. So far, I’ve researched vending machine and product prices, identified local locations, created a list of potential competitors in the area, checked out storage facilities near highway entrances, and developed a list of potential clients.
After watching the videos, I followed the action steps. Vending Bootcamp gave me back time that I would have wasted just thinking about ideas. In two to three months, I developed an action plan!
Most books or videos tell people what they did, but they never specifically tell you how to reach the same level. Adam’s precise instructions and caring mentorship proved instrumental in removing my self-doubt. The best part of the course is its comprehensive personal education that covers multiple aspects of the vending business. Each video has a corresponding action item, checklist, and worklist to help you achieve your goals.
After taking the course, my outlook has changed. My advice is to get this priceless knowledge and experience from an expert mentor. Learning from others’ mistakes is far better than learning from your own mistakes. Vending Bootcamp gave me the knowledge I need to manage the risk of failure and the strength to overcome it on my path to a successful business.
