When my husband and I ran across Chris’ content on YouTube, we had just bought a pre-existing cleaning company. We thought they had their systems and processes nailed down to offer a quality service and generate the advertised revenue. They did not! Instead, we bought a dumpster fire. The business did about $55k in sales – one-fifth of what the previous owners advertised it at. Rather than waste time and money reinventing the wheel, we chose to invest in a step-by-step plan that would give us a much easier time scaling to a profitable point.

It isn’t easy, it’s hard work, but it’s so rewarding to see things start to take off and prove themselves! In future, we’ll exercise more due diligence about buying a pre-existing company. But the course gave us the confidence to take the leap and leave the 9-5 race. Finally, our hard work is paying off and the business will provide the freedom and flexibility we always dreamed about!
If you’re a new entrepreneur, my advice is to be patient with yourself and your team (if you have one). It takes time to build a business. You will experience growing pains, but it’s worth it in the end!
